How Much Does House Cleaning Cost in Utah?

It is the first question almost every client asks us, and it deserves a straight answer: the cost of a house cleaning in Northern Utah depends on your home, not on a price list. Below is exactly what moves that number, so you can work out roughly where your home sits before you call anyone.

What actually determines your price

Any cleaning company that quotes you a firm price without asking about your home is guessing, and that guess usually gets corrected on the day. These are the five things that genuinely change the cost.

1. Size, but measured in rooms rather than square feet

Bathrooms and kitchens carry most of the work. A three-bedroom home with one bathroom cleans faster than a two-bedroom with three bathrooms, even though the square footage suggests the opposite. When we estimate, we ask for bedrooms and bathrooms first for exactly this reason.

2. How long it has been since the last professional clean

This is the largest single factor, and the one most people underestimate. A home cleaned every two weeks is maintenance. A home that has not been deep cleaned in two years needs the build-up removed before maintenance is even possible. That first visit costs more, and it is a one-off.

3. Frequency

Recurring visits cost less per visit than one-off cleans, because the home never gets far from where we left it. Weekly is less per visit than biweekly, which is less than monthly. If budget matters to you, frequency is the lever that moves it most.

4. Which service you need

A Standard Cleaning covers the rooms you live in. A Deep Cleaning reaches behind and underneath. A Move-Out Cleaning treats an empty house, which sounds easier but is not: every cupboard, drawer and appliance comes into scope.

5. What is actually in the house

Pets, children, home offices, heavy clutter on surfaces, finished basements. None of these are problems, but they all change the time a visit takes, and time is what you are paying for.

Why we quote per home instead of per hour

Hourly pricing puts you and the cleaner on opposite sides: the slower the work, the more you pay. We would rather agree the scope and the price up front, so the incentive is to do the job properly rather than to stretch it. You know the number before we start, and it does not move because a room took longer than expected.

Cheap quotes are usually expensive

If one quote comes in far below the others, something is being left out. Usually it is one of these:

  • No insurance. If something is damaged, or someone is hurt in your home, that becomes your problem rather than theirs.
  • You supply the products and equipment. Add that to the price, and the gap closes quickly.
  • A shorter visit than you assumed. Two hours and four hours are both “a cleaning” until you come home and look.
  • No guarantee. If something is missed, you pay again or live with it.

We are licensed, registered and fully insured, we bring our own supplies and equipment including pet-safe products, and if something does not feel quite right after your service, you tell us within 24 hours and we gladly return to make it right.

How to get a real number for your home

Tell us the bedrooms, the bathrooms, roughly when the home was last professionally cleaned, and whether you are thinking weekly, biweekly, monthly or one-off. That is enough for an accurate estimate. There is no visit fee and no obligation, and we serve Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, Utah, Summit and Morgan counties.

Ask for your free estimate or call (385) 865-3598. We will tell you what your home costs before you commit to anything.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to pay for the estimate?

No. Estimates are free, there is no visit fee, and you are under no obligation to book.

Does the price change after the first visit?

Typically it goes down. The first visit often includes catch-up work that recurring visits do not need. We tell you that up front rather than surprising you later.

Do I need to supply anything?

No. Our team arrives with the products, supplies and equipment needed for your service, including pet-safe options.

Is it cheaper to book recurring cleanings?

Per visit, yes. A maintained home takes less time than one that has been left for months, and the price reflects that.
